Exact ingredients vary between shades, but you can always be sure that as well as being suitable for vegans, Tints of Nature Henna Cream is free from Ammonia, PPD, PTD and Resorcinol.

But it's not just about what you won't find - the ingredients you will find in Henna Cream are just as important!

To start, each shade is enriched with Natural Henna Extract, which provides added condition and shine. This does not impact colour or leave build-up on the hair like traditional henna powder can.

Premixed and ready to use, each box contains everything you'll need for great results...

Step 1: Wash your hair with the sachet of Clarifying Shampoo provided.

Step 2: Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

Step 3: Shake bottle of henna cream and apply thoroughly, starting at the hair-line, or where your hair is lightest.

Step 4: Wait 30-40 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs completely clear. Follow with your preferred conditioner.

No - you don't need to use the whole bottle!

Ensuring the lid is on tightly, you can save any unused Henna Cream in a cool, dark place for up to six months. This makes for an easy way to top-up your colour, or experiment with different mixes if blending different shades.

Tints of Nature Henna Cream hair dye is a semi-permanent colour that will last up to 12 washes. It does completely wash out over time.

As such, this henna cream is perfect if you are:

• Trying colour for the first time.
• Trying a new colour.
• Looking for a temporary colour change - for an occasion perhaps.

It's extremely gentle formulation also means it is an excellent choice for those with allergies / sensitivities, or those who do not wish to use chemicals to colour their hair.

Tints of Nature Henna cream is an ultra gentle semi-permanent hair colour, that temporarily colours the outer cuticle layers of the hair.

It is extremely well suited to those who want a temporary colour change - for a special occasion perhaps, or to try a new colour without risk - or those who don't wish to or cannot use chemicals - for example, sensitivities / allergies, during pregnancy or recovering from illness.

It's important to understand that colour this gentle won't provide 100% cover for grey hair. It will discreetly blend away about 80% of grey hair, depending on hair condition and type, and will wash out completely over time, lasting up to 12 washes.

Follow these steps to patch test Tints of Nature Henna Cream:

• Wash a small area of skin inside your elbow and dry gently but thoroughly.
• Squeeze a tiny amount of the colour cream onto a saucer. Put the lid back on the tube immediately and dip a cotton bud into the colour cream on the saucer and apply to the inner elbow as above. Allow to dry.
• Do not wash off for AT LEAST 48 hours (Please be aware that in some cases the skin sensitivity/allergy test can take longer to react – up to a week for some people).
• If during this period you experience any irritation, redness, swelling or burning, wash off immediately. It is likely you are allergic to an ingredient in this product and should not use it.
• If irritation continues, seek medical advice.

Tints of Nature Henna Cream does not contain any 'metallic salts' which means they are compatible with other hair dyes.

However, our advice when interchanging between different brands or types of hair dye, is to always do a strand test prior to applying to the whole head.

If you would like to check the colour result of the henna cream hair dye before applying to the whole head, follow these simple steps:

• First pop on your gloves.
• Take a section of hair approximately 1cm thick, then apply the henna cream from root to tip.
• Leave on for 30 minutes.
• Rinse well with warm water and dry your hair.
